  • Yes, we offer telemedicine appointments for certain types of visits. These virtual consultations allow you to connect with your provider from the comfort of your home.

  • Yes, we provide 24/7 on-call services for urgent matters outside of regular office hours.

  • Yes, we are affiliated with all Memorial Hospitals in Broward County.

  • Unfortunately, we don't provide in-hospital care. Insurance companies now use hospitalists for inpatient care. However, we'll coordinate with the hospital for your follow-up care after discharge.

  • We make every effort to schedule you with your regular provider. However, if your provider isn't available, you may see another member of our experienced team. We've had the same group of providers for years, ensuring consistent, quality care.

  • If you have a question about your coverage, the first step is to check with your Insurance. If you still have questions after contacting your insurance, our billing department will be happy to help.

  • It's always a good idea to contact your insurance company first. If you still have questions after contacting them, you can always contact the lab, or call our billing department to help answer your questions.

  • Yes, there are fees for completing forms, including FMLA paperwork. Please contact our office for specific fee information.

Insurance & Billing

  • You can cancel or reschedule your appointment via text, phone call, patient portal message, or through the Healow app. Choose the method that's most convenient for you!

  • We understand that unexpected delays can happen. We try our best to accommodate late arrivals, but we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you're running late.

  • Yes, we have a $50 no-show fee. We implement this policy to ensure all our patients have fair access to appointments.

  • We generally recommend scheduling an appointment. However, if there's an available provider, we may be able to accommodate walk-ins. For immediate care needs, we suggest visiting an urgent care center.

  • Appointment wait times can vary depending on the type of visit and current scheduling. Please contact our office for the most up-to-date information.

  • Currently, we don't offer evening or weekend hours. However, we do provide 24/7 on-call services for urgent matters.

Appointment & Office Policies

  • We recommend having a physical exam yearly to maintain your health and catch any potential issues early.

  • Yes, we do draw labs in the office. Lab work is sent to LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics for test results.

  • We do not offer X-Rays in our office. We will refer you to an imaging center or hospital.

  • Yes, we offer pap smears. They are an important part of our comprehensive women's health services. Please schedule an appointment to discuss your specific needs.

  • Yes, we offer confidential STD screening and testing. Please schedule an appointment to discuss your specific needs and concerns.

  • You can access your lab results three ways:

    • The Healow App

    • Quest Diagnostics patient portal (if your tests were done through Quest)

    • LabCorp patient portal (if your tests were done through LabCorp)

    For assistance with accessing your results, don't hesitate to get in touch with our office.

  • Lab results are typically available within 3-7 days.

    If you haven't received your results after 7 days, please contact our office.

  • Results from imaging tests (such as X-rays, MRIs, and other scans) are typically available within 7-10 days.

    If you haven't received your results after 10 days, please contact our office.

  • We recommend children transition to our office at 12 years old.

  • We don't administer childhood vaccines in our office, but we can refer you to a local pharmacy that provides this service.

  • No, we don't perform DOT physicals at our practice.

  • Yes, we offer TB screenings and PPD tests at our office.

  • We provide suture removal services, but we don't place sutures in our office.

Services & Procedures

  • To request a referral, please discuss your needs with your provider during your appointment. We have a dedicated referral coordinator who will assist in processing your referral after your provider has approved it.

  • For medication refills, please follow these steps:

    1. First, contact your pharmacy to request a refill.

    2. If the pharmacy needs approval, use our patient portal to send a refill request.

    3. If the above methods don't work, please call our office.

Referrals & Refills

  • Healow is our patient portal. You can access it by downloading the Healow app on your smartphone or visiting the Healow website. If you need help setting up your account, please contact our office.

  • The most efficient way to message your practitioner is through our patient portal. This ensures your message is securely delivered and properly documented in your medical record.
